
Although with its strongest presence in the markets of Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo - capitals which concentrate
around 90% of its business -, Gafisa is adopting an innovative expansion strategy for the sector, which normally
favors regionalization. Thus its brand is already present in Manaus (AM), Salvador (BA), Itu (SP), Macaé (RJ),
Belém (PA), Brasília (DF), Curitiba (PR) and Florianópolis (SC), and by the end of 2006, should be also present
in Cuiabá (MT), Campinas (SP), Recife (PE), Porto Alegre (RS) and Maceió (AL).
